25th September 2023 – UBD Library organised a roadshow at Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism’s (MPRT) Grand Hall at Jalan Menteri Besar on 26th September 2023. The roadshow was attended by MPRT officers and staff. The main purpose of this Roadshow is to introduce UBD library collections, resources, as well as services available in the library.
The opening ceremony began with an opening speech by Haji Awang Muhammad Yussuf bin POKIDDP Haji Awang Musa, Assistant Chief Librarian, Universiti Brunei Darussalam Library. It was followed by a briefing delivered by Awang Mohammad Suhimi bin Mohd Salleh, Head of Lending Services on the UBD Library services, facilities and the privileges offered to them. The roadshow then proceeded with the demonstration of the ”Open Athens” platform by Awang Amirul Shahezal bin Hj Abd Rahman, Head of Research Information Services and Promotion Division. The roadshow ended with a Question-and-Answer session.
