13th July 2023 – Delegates from the 1st ASEAN Junior Intelligence Interaction Programme paid a visit to UBD Library as part of their programme to Brunei Darussalam from 12th to 16th July 2023.

The delegates went on a guided tour around the library where Awang Yong Chuan Chee highlighted appropriate research materials and the collections available in the library.

The Library Visit concluded with a group photograph session.

June 30, 2023 – IBTE interns presented a sharing session titled “Sesi kongsi Sama Penempatan Industri Penuntut IBTE” in the UBD Library. Their three-month internship was coming to an end recently. The library would like to thank the following students for their hard work and contributions to the library:

1) Aanisah Ashrafina binti Muhamad Yusran;
2) Nur Aziemah Marsya binti Myise; and
3) Aanisah Zuhairah binti Maserwan.

The library also wishes them well in their future undertakings.

27th June 2023 – UBD Library received visitors from Year 12 IB Diploma Programme students of International School Brunei (ISB) as part of their research program. They were given a tour by Awang Yong Chuan Chee within the library and briefed on the services provided by the library to its users.

7th June 2023 – Delegates from the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy paid a visit to UBD Library as part of their good-will visit to Brunei Darussalam from 5th to 8th June 2023.

The objective of the visit was to promote mutual exchanges and understanding for the undergraduates aboard for the cadets. The delegates went for a guided tour around the library where Awang Yong Chuan Chee highlighted appropriate research materials and the collections available in the library.

The Library Visit concluded with a group photograph session at the ASEAN Corner.
